How To Share Your Company File On Reckon Accounts Hosted?

  • Ensure that your company data file is uploaded and restored in Reckon Accounts Hosted.
  • Only the Admin of this software can share the file and folder.
  • While performing the troubleshooting steps, all users should be logged out the data file and      the RAH account.
  • Make sure to log into your clients RAH account if you are an accountant or a Bookkeeper to     set up the file share for them.


Now the troubleshooting steps are as follows:

 1.Open Reckon Software on a web browser and click Launch Accounts 2015 on the screen.

 2.This will open a new tab on your browser. It will take little time to load the page completely.

 3.Select the very first option shown on screen and click on Open button.

 4.A new screen will open up with many tab and options. Navigate to Company tab to open a drop-down list.

 5.Select Users from the list and then click Set up users Roles from the following options.

 6.This will bring up Users and Roles window, click New button to move ahead.

 7.Thereafter, click Accountant on the new window and then select Add option.

 8.Enter the user name in the required filed and then click OK button.
  • Now, to make it easier on the welcome Reckon Accounts page go to Control Panel option.
  • Select File Management and then click on Share your company file.
  • Go to Select user and choose your User Id to move ahead.
  • Now, in the Select Company file option move to add the company file to be shared.
  • Click Next button. Enter User id of your account in the Select the User for access section.
  • Click the Next button again after adding it the selected user.
  • Finally click Create Share.
